Past Projects

From general website content—Home Page, About Us, Products, and Services—to product descriptions, biographies and blog posts, I’ve written for a variety of industries.

I enjoy doing the deep dive to learn about the products, services, unique selling points and target markets I am asked to write about. From there, I create naturally rich keyword content that drives traffic and increases sales.

PRODUCT & MERCHANT DESCRIPTIONS

Product & merchant descriptions are deceptive. They need to be extremely concise yet give a full and complete picture, making verb choice serious business.

Product descriptions include:

Skin Care - Omni Bioceutical Innovations

Omni Bioceutical Innovations, a manufacturer of growth factor derived skincare, has a complete skincare line. I was honored to play a part in crafting their product descriptions.

WEBSITE CONTENT

Often, when I design and build websites for new clients, they need help crafting the content. Some clients have existing sites, but pages may not contain enough relevant content, necessitating help with that as well. There is no shortcut for this type of work; it demands that I do my homework. If I don’t understand a business’s products or services, what sets them apart, or who they are marketing to, it is impossible to write for them. Learning about a variety of businesses is one of the best parts of my job.

Pages I’ve Authored:

Law Firm - Rudolph & Hammond

For the Personal Injury Law Firm, Rudolph & Hammond, I enjoyed researching and learning about their various practice areas. Below are some examples of the content I crafted for their website.

Physical Therapy Practice - Precision PT & Sports Medicine

I was honored to be asked to help craft pages for Precision PT & Sports Medicine. In total, I contributed 12 pages to their site. Below are some examples.

Chiropractic Practice - Arizona Chiropractic & Medical

Dr. Mioni at Arizona Chiropractic Group & Medical was a pleasure to work with. I am proud to say in addition to 10 other pages,  I wrote the following for his site:

Surveillance Company - The Spy Shop Store

When I was brought in to create the content for the SpyShopStore.com, the website had been set up as a shopping cart site. In an effort to increase SEO and help customers understand their unique selling proposition, we worked together to create three types of informative content. The first was their mission statement and Home page content. The second was general descriptions about products and finally describing the problems their products solved. Pages describing products include:

Pages describing concerns include:

Van Rentals - Phoenix Discount Van & SUV Rental

As a locally owned and operated company, Phoenix Discount Van & SUV Rental needed to tell the story of their long, local history in the community. But again, writing about something so personal is often difficult for owners who are too close to their subject, but something I am very honored to be asked to do.

b

Window Coverings - Blind Occasions, LLP

Although nobody knew their product as well as they did, the husband and wife owners of Blind Occasions felt less confident writing about themselves. In crafting their About Us page, I was seeking to express the honesty and authenticity of this terrific couple.

Skin Care - Omni Bioceutical Innovations

Omni Bioceutical Innovations, a manufacturer of growth factor derived skin care products, needed help creating a clear, understandable message for their products. The science for producing these products is highly technical and the copy needed to be written so their customer could easily understand the complicated process and science that goes into these exceptional products. My brain still hurts just a little from this project, but it was an absolute pleasure.

BLOG POSTS

Nobody wants to read an article that screams “Let me sell you a watch!”  Blog posts should strive to be informative, first and foremost. At the same time, it is essential to meet the needs of the business as well. By crafting Blog Posts using the 70/30 rule (70% objective information/30% marketing information), everybody wins. For example, one of my clients wants their customers to know they can provide a great deal on a rental car, but I know their customer also wants solid information on vacation tips and ideas. The blog articles I write for their visitors are packed with great travel tips and yet also provide valuable information about affordable rental car opportunities. Quality content in the form of blog posts is essential for a successful business, and I provide just that.

Posts I’ve Authored:

Phoenix Discount Car Rental

This Phoenix, Arizona car rental company wanted me to deliver blog posts that were generally informative about things to do in Arizona as well as some tips about extreme weather, all the while illuminating their USP, which is deeply discounted car rental prices. Check them out:
